Over their ten-year history, Vertical Horizon has gone from a Jam Rock band to writing snappy, adult-friendly songs that hint at early R.E.M. Everything You Want is a strong, albeit somewhat derivative, album that hits its marks cleanly. You can't argue with a hit, and as Vertical Horizon's success at radio proves, this album has plenty of them.
