Though too often written off as a slumping sophomore effort, the best moments of You're Gonna Get It! hold their own against Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers' rough 'n' tumble debut. Certainly among these is the call-and-response chorus of the raucous single, "I Need to Know," and the soaring harmony of the opening track, "When the Time Comes." And while much of the stuff in between isn't essential listening, "Listen to Her Heart" foreshadows Petty's ability to turn a biting phrase.
