Label: Curb Records
The first of Tim McGraw's albums to achieve massive commercial success, this sophomore set spent 26 weeks in the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Top Country chart. Highlighted by rocking new-traditionalist arrangements (think a more countrypolitan Dwight Yoakam), Not a Moment Too Soon offered McGraw's first bona fide classic, "Indian Outlaw," not to mention the Ford Truck anthems "It Doesn't Get Any Countrier Than This" and "Give It to Me Strait." The legitimacy of McGraw's talents comes to the surface here, and proves he deserved the sales upon sales he'd enjoy later on.
