Released:
Label: New Rounder
The brothers Bacon released this third record in 2001. A positively enchanting blend of Graceland-era Paul Simon and, um, Dave Matthews-brand jam rock, Can't Complain offers Kevin Bacon super-fans something to do when they're not watching Queens Logic over and over. As far as crappy celebrity albums go, it's far from the worst, and at times achieves a sort of countrified prog style that, at the very least, is different. The strings on opener "Paris" and "Sooner or Later" are flat-out weird. That's saying something.
