The Colour Of Spring manages to bridge the gap between Talk Talk's early Synth-Pop leanings and the genre-bending of their next record, Spirit Of Eden. The record contains the hit "Life's What You Make It" and makes for an overall beautiful listen, as Mark Hollis' vocal work and intelligent songs have aged quite well.
