The Yellow And Black Attack!
Label: Hollywood Records
In 1984, Yellow and Black Attack gave the world its first taste of these most famous Christian metal pioneers. With their trademark black-and-yellow theme, twin-guitar solos and massively haired screaming all in place, the EP set the stage for Soldiers Under Command to make Stryper a household name in 1986. While it's impossible to avoid the harsh truths brought on by the passage of time (teased hair, low-budget production, spandex: maybe these weren't such good ideas), it's a shame no one plays solos like the ribboning shower of sparks in "You Know What to Do" anymore.
