Label: VANDIT Records
His second album of original material after 45 RPM, this 1996 release solidified PvD's reputation as the man to watch in trance. Richer and more layered than his earlier work, his songs have aged surprisingly well, particularly "Words" and "Home." Nostalgic fans will also enjoy hearing the lovely piano break in "Beautiful Place" again, especially on the Salt Tank Remix, which cranks up the energy even higher than the original. Those wanting a mellower introduction to PvD's work should instead head for "Forbidden Fruit," which is probably "our song" for a number of now retired clubbers.
