Band On The Run
Label: Paul McCartney Catalog
Paul's first two solo albums and Band on the Run work as unified wholes, but overall, McCartney and Wings really thrived as a singles outfit. "Another Day" is melodic English drudgery at its best, "Let 'Em In" is a goofy sonic marvel, and "Uncle Albert" proves that avant-garde pop can have a sense of humor. The soaring "Live and Let Die" is one of the only trulu decent Bond themes, "Jet" and "Band on the Run" are two of the greatest classic rock tunes ever, and "Hi Hi Hi" is still thrilling 'em down at the Hacky Sack circle. And if you need a little hope in your life, play "With a Little Luck."
