This impressive young Australian sounds older than her age -- and it's not just because she's a rock guitar prodigy whose idols are old enough to be (at least) her father. Her debut album has a slightly dated sound, partially because guitar-driven pop isn't super fashionable right now. When she owns it and just gives in to the '80s rocker vibe, Orianthi sounds like the second coming of Heart ("Bad News") or even a rockier Gretchen Wilson ("Think Like a Man"). But when she aims to be too contemporary, she sounds like a bland Miley Cyrus. Stick with the dad rock, Orianthi.
