Mick Jagger breaks out the guitars on his third solo release, and the result is the first time in his solo career that he put together an album with a shelf life potentially longer than a gallon of milk. "Sweet Thing" successfully recreates Some Girls-style disco, Lenny Kravitz does not ruin a faithful cover of Bill Withers' all-time classic "Use Me" and "Don't Tear Me Up" is arguably the best song Jagger ever wrote without his cohorts from that other band. Released in 1993, and for some better than any actual Stones records coming out on either side of it.
