Mariah Carey's catalog is often anthologized, notably on 1998's #1s. This set adds three chart-toppers from her Def Jam stint -- "We Belong Together," "Don't Forget About Us" and "Touch My Body" -- and replaces the album version of "Fantasy" with her much-loved ODB "Bad Boy" remix. The new track, "Infinity," adds to a breakup canon that dates back to her first hit, 1990's "Vision of Love." With its jittery yet mottled chorus and epic, sweeping strings, "Infinity" seems unlikely to smash the 2015 charts. But Mariah shouldn't be disappointed; she's got plenty of "#1s" already.
