Lana Del Rey, honey, get a therapist! The pop provocateur continues to work out her daddy issues via string-laden noir with this companion EP to 2012's Born to Die. The production here is slightly softer and subtler, putting those coy, smoky pipes on full display so you can really get an earful of lines like "Let me put on a show for you, daddy," "Elvis is my daddy," "I was an angel looking to get f*cked hard" and "My p*ssy taste like Pepsi Cola." The best is opener "Ride," a Killers-like ballad that finds her truly getting introspective ("I'm tired of feeling like I'm f*cking crazy").
