While she can't bring herself to cuss on quiet-storm ballad "They Don't Give," elsewhere our American Idol seems determined to scrub away a bit of her good girl image, whether daring a mile high club partner to jump from the plane or cheerfully celebrating tough guys on piano-led "Boyz in the Hood." Still, despite an opening sex-laden promise to work hard when she gets home, the album's fast/slow ratio eventually seems a little off -- don't be afraid to punch that tempo, Jordin. After all, when she wants to zing, she can really sting: "Dude swear he a boss/ Still livin' with his ma's."
