Lonestar frontman (and half of Big & Rich) goes solo with glossy-sounding country songs overflowing with maudlin melodies and lyrics so riddled with sentimentality that they could have been written for a romantic Broadway musical in the early '80s. Glimmers of Tex-Mex influences seep into the instrumentation, weaving around Rich's impassioned vocals.
