Sex, Drugs & Violence (Demo)
Not a rip-off to sell fans the same songs twice, Demolicious is a peace offering for old fans to return to the fold. As bassist Mike Dirnt told his Instagram followers: "This is how ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré! would have sounded if we were still on Lookout Records." These 18 songs, distilled from the three-album set, avoid any of the over-ambition of the band's later output. Highlights include the "I Fought the Law"-esque "Carpe Diem," the locked-in catchiness of "Angel Blue," the power-pop firecracker "Nuclear Family" and one tasty unreleased song, "State of Shock," that kicks like Ramones.
