Anything Goes

Florida Georgia Line

Play on Napster
Released:
Label: Big Machine Label Group
Florida Georgia Line keep the party going on their sophomore effort -- and to say the album is party-friendly is an understatement. Within the first few songs, we learn that the duo will happily bring a boombox, Alabama CD, keg, Jack and coke, Bacardi, smokeables, Seagrams and 7-Up to that next flip-cup party. This time out, the duo add electronic beats, hip-hop references and, in the case of "Sun Daze," a smattering of pop reggae to their upbeat country concoction. In fact, with its reggae beat and laid back lyrics (“all I want to do today is wear my favorite shades and get stoned”), the aforementioned “Sun Daze” is destined to be a huge part of the “work a little less, play a little more” summer zeitgeist. Other highlights include "Bumpin' the Night" and the rockin' "Anything Goes."
