An Aldean-esque portrayal of rural life from every angle, the only thing that separates 10,000 Towns and the phrase "concept album" is the band's unpretentious Texas demeanor. Here, the best love song is sequenced next to the best break-up song. And the title track, the record's straightest celebration of small towns, is followed by second single "Dust" -- a rocking account of someone who has outgrown them. The subject matter may not be the most original, but with stadium hooks and open-hearted lyrics, the Texas foursome get more out of it than just about anyone else.
