After ten years of severe professional malaise, Fagen teamed up with old Steely Dan cohort Walter Becker for this cyberpunk concept album. The alien AIDS opus "Tomorrow's Girls" was the single, but "Snowbound" is the album's best cut. Fagen and Becker enjoyed the experience enough to reform Steely Dan after this.
