Bigger and Blackerer
David Cross

Cross' third record is refreshingly light on the left-wing proselytizing that marks his earlier work. Instead of haranguing the audience, Cross relies more on his unbelievable talent for goofy voices and moronic characters and even pokes fun at the hipster culture he is an indisputable leader of ("If You Care"). He also relates hilarious stories about his drug days ("That One Show About Drugs and Stuff") and aims his withering viewpoint at the idiocy of advertising ("I Can't Get Beer In Me") with laugh-out-loud results.
