The Tampa-via-Buffalo death-metal standard bearers' 13th full-length -- following 2012's Torture, their highest-charting ever -- grinds out their usual indistinguishable migraine: loads of rigid, repetitive, blast-beated bowels-of-earth grrrumble grrrowls, briefly broken up by concrete riffs or wank. Moments without vocals stand out: a few of them in "Icepick Lobotomy," though "High Velocity Impact Spatter" and "Funeral Cremation" open with calming vacuum cleaner noise. "Asphyxiate to Resuscitate" does some shiver-me-timbers staccato stuff, and in "Kill or Become" they "fire up the chainsaw!"
