Released:
Label: Epic
This is Avril's hookiest, most fun album to date. The first song's called "Rock n Roll," followed by "Here's to Never Growing Up" (which, like Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away," treats Radiohead as teen-pop fodder) and the excellent sugar-shot of "17." But she doesn't stop there, surviving not just a duet with Marilyn Manson ("Bad Girl," one of the best things here), but one with husband Chad Kroeger of Nickelback ("Let Me Go"). She even does a rip of "We're Never Getting Back Together" in "B*tchin' Summer" and a partly Japanese club track called "Hello Kitty."
