San Diego boys Switchfoot are starting a tour September 22 in Wilmington, N.C., just days before the release of the band's eighth studio project, Vice Verses. The tour wraps up October 21 in Phoenix. Always eager to help others, Switchfoot will collect new and used backpacks at their shows to donate to StandUp for Kids, a national nonprofit volunteer outreach organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of at-risk, homeless and street kids.
Amy Grant/Michael W. Smith
If you missed the 2 Friends Tour this past year, catch old friends Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith together again this fall at seven locations, beginning in Chattanooga, Tenn., on October 29. Jeremy Camp/Francesca Battistelli/Adam Cappa
Jeremy Camp follows up the release of his second worship album, We Cry Out: The Worship Project, with a headlining slot on the We Cry Out Tour. Kicking off September 29 in Georgia and wrapping up November 20 in Texas, the 29-city tour will feature reigning GMA Artist of the Year Francesca Battistelli and special guest Adam Cappa.
Matthew West/Jonny Diaz
The spring leg of Matthew West's The Story of Your Life Tour was so successful that he and tourmate Jonny Diaz will embark on a limited fall run starting in October. The string of shows will hit over a dozen markets, including stops in Tennessee, New Hampshire, Maine, Illinois and Texas. The tour takes its name from West's latest album, inspired by 10,000 real-life stories West received, covering topics from bullying to divorce to adoption. West will follow up the tour with his first full-length Christmas album, The Heart of Christmas.
Fan favorite Shaun Groves is taking an online approach to touring with his North American Blog Tour, which kicked off August 30. In addition to music and conversation about Third World Symphony, each blogger is invited to tell their own story of how the beauty and wisdom of the Third World has changed their First World life.
