There are only two really great tracks on young Ms. Evans's debut. There's "About a Boy," which is just about the most endearing slow jam we've heard in a long time, a love song by someone who should be obsessed with love -- a teenager. Then there's the Timbaland-helmed "Girl Gone Wild," and all right, it sounds like something he might've put together for Aaliyah back in the day (complete with baby cries!), but dang, that was, and is, some good stuff. Two great tracks alone would make for a strong showing, but then there's everything else, which is solidly, satisfyingly good.
