Released:
Label: SYR
The seventh record in the SYR series of far-out jamming and old school drone rock, this album is just two tracks, running 20 minutes apiece. The first, "J'Accuse Ted Hughes," comes from a 2001 performance at All Tomorrow's Parties, and the second, "Agnes B. Musique," was recorded in-studio with Jim O'Rourke sitting in. On track one, Kim Gordon does a pretty good impersonation of a randy, high-as-a-kite Iggy Pop. Track two is a laidback bongo jam with Sun Ra keyboards and Bad Moon Rising-style feedback.
