About Phil Wickham

Phil Wickham grew up in sun-drenched San Diego, Calif., in a Christian home to parents who were no strangers to performing. Eager to make his faith his own, Wickham began leading worship for his church youth group when he was just 12 years old. With his parents' encouragement, he released an independent disc seven years later, in 2003, and began touring around California. His self-titled label debut arrived in 2006, followed by Cannons, inspired by the C.S. Lewis book The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Wickham continues to record and play in churches across the country.
