Mann is yet another West Coast teen who has scored hits with a breezy pop-rap flow and a swag attitude. The L.A. rapper and occasional vocalist drew attention in 2008 with "Jerkin'," leading superstar producer J.R. Rotem to sign him to the Beluga Heights imprint. More singles came and went over the next two years, including "Ghetto Girl" and "Text." Finally, a remix of "Buzzin'" became Mann's first real hit on the charts, thanks to its catchy sample of the Nu Shooz '80s electro classic "I Can't Wait" and a guest appearance from 50 Cent. A debut album, Mann's World, is due out in 2011.
