Shepherd continues to delve into the laid back feel and understated approach to blues music he started to mess with on his last album, 10 Days Out. This third installment in a series of EPs featuring Shepherd jamming with various delta blues survivors leaves little to be desired for even the most finicky of purists. Shepherd doesn't even take a solo until track three and when he does, it's short and sweet and, more importantly, pretty awesome. Excellent performances from Clarence Gatemouth Brown, Henry Townsend, Etta Baker, harpist Big Daddy Pattman and the hilarious Cootie Stark.
