Right from the start you know this is going to be a winner -- how many hip-hop producers open with a harp? Add to that the Saint Etienne-style sound clip and you're smiling even before Jack Allsopp starts singing. Funky and fun, he's often compared to The Streets, and although this is fair given their quintessential Englishness and deft turns of phrase, Jack's music is groovier and more approachable for strangers to the genre, sounding almost like Jamiroquai in places. It's all good, but "Glory Days" in particular is destined to be a perennial summer hit.
