Released:
Label: Fantasy Records
Bay Area label Fantasy Records (home to CCR!) originally released Live at the Keystone as a double LP in 1973, but over the years the collection has been divided into separate releases with additional material tacked on ("Mystery Train" in the case of the five-song Volume 2). This second installment finds the group – led by Garcia, organist Merl Saunders and bassist John Kahn – offering up more funky, fusion-infused RnB, as well as a surprising cover of the pop standard "My Funny Valentine."
