A dance-heavy tribute to matters of the heart? That's a concept that's got JLo written all over it. And yet, something's missing. It may be the voice: Love? doesn't find her stretching her small voice like she did on Como Ama Mujer. It could be the style: Lopez is at her best when things get funky and hip-hop-infused and with few exceptions (the Ke$ha-esque "Good Hit," Latin-tinged "Papi"), the dominant aesthetic is icier, clubbier. Except for a few cringe-worthy lyrics, this is a perfectly pleasant album. It's just that La Lopez's formidable presence feels a little faint.
