Released:
Label: Bigger Picture
It's been four years since Chris Cagle's last release, and he’s obviously rekindled his love for driving, in-your-face country. Saddle Up opens with "Got My Country On," a highly charged bundle of yee-haw. "Let There Be Cowgirls" is a Jason Aldean-styled rocker, while "When Will My Lover Come Around" melds high lonesome with High Voltage (that's an AC/DC reference, for all you country fans). There are a few lovely, heartfelt ballads as well, including "Dance Baby Dance," "Something That Wild," and "Thank God She Left the Whiskey."
