That "Different Gear" would be one running on the absence of Noel Gallagher; Beady Eye is essentially Oasis sans one mop-topped, volatile bro. We'd be remiss not to point out the blatant borrowing of The Beatles throughout this debut. The jangly sitar of "Millionaire" has George written all over it; we're waiting for "Instant Karma" to get Liam with "The Roller"; and piano stomper "Bring the Light" may have you daydreaming about Paul gaily shakin' that precious hair. Still, Liam seems to be having the last laugh, declaring: "I'm gonna stand the test of time/ like Beatles and Stones."
