This soundtrack is almost as horribly great as Walter Hill's 1979 cult classic movie. The songs range from really bad covers (Arnold McCuller's version "Nowhere to Run") to lame rainforest funk (Mandrill's repellent "Echoes in the Mind") to Joe Walsh's first take on "In the City" (which is far superior to the official Eagles version). Listening to this is exquisitely painful. We can only hope that Quentin Tarantino will remake the movie with a RZA soundtrack, but until that day, come out to play.
