Released:
Label: CATEGORY 5 RECORDS
Travis Tritt's first outing on an indie label finds him rocking his classic kind of boogie-twang that you can grill beer-can chicken to. And yes, ladies, he still specializes in those boondock ballads that make you want to roll in the hay with your old man. Actually since he inflects on "I Wanna Feel Too Much" like Michael McDonald, maybe a roll on some tropical sand would be more appropriate. Kenny Wayne Shepherd cameos on a cover of his own "Somehow, Somewhere, Someway," and Charlie Daniels' fiddle pops up throughout. Tritt's take on Bocephus' "The Pressure Is On" is also pretty neat.
