Released:
Label: Geffen
This compilation collects two studio albums of original Kinks material and one live album, shakes it all up, and creates this rather interesting, well-balanced package -- remarkable since Visual and U.K. Jive were such different beasts. "Lost and Found" is the best track here -- wistful, nostalgic, looking back toward Preservation Hall-era Kinks -- while something like "How Do I Stay Close" is pure guitar wank and approaches nervous metal.
