Released:
Label: Rhino/Warner Bros.
Fans need to have the B-52s first three albums, but everyone, from little kids and ex-punks to open-minded grandparents, should find much to enjoy in these 18 tracks. It's hard to go wrong with "Rock Lobster," "Private Idaho," "Song for a Future Generation," "Love Shack," "Planet Claire" -- OK, pretty much every track here is essential. Not bad for a band that was viewed as a one-hit novelty act when "Lobster" snuck on the charts back in 1979.
