About Sean Lennon

As the only son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon's entree into the family business was predestined, and he made his first recorded performance as a six-year-old on his mother's 1981 LP Season Of Glass. As a young man, he started to perform publicly, at times backing up Ono projects, and in 1997 he joined New York-based Japanese pop duo Cubo Matto. This led to a deal for his first solo record, Into the Sun, which was released on Grand Royal in 1998. He released the Half Horse, Half Musician EP in 1999, but eight years passed before his next LP, Friendly Fire.
