Released:
Label: Rap A Lot/Asylum
If this is indeed Scarface's last album, as he claims, it'll be a tough pill to swallow. Even though his legacy is already cemented as a successful soloist and Geto Boys member, the King of Houston hasn't lost a step here. Eleven albums in, and Face is still obsessed with making sure the code of the streets is respected. He gives a voice to America's lower income brackets on "Can't Get Right," which vividly illustrates the effect of gas prices, war and recession. With another stellar album under his belt, the notion of anyone forgetting about Face ("Forgot About Me") seems pretty ridiculous.
