Released:

Glasgow's Rustie has always inhabited dubstep's furthest fringes; on his debut album, he audaciously declares his margins the new center of the dance music world, and for the most part, you believe him. He's not afraid to borrow the tricks that make Magnetic Man and even Swedish House Mafia arena kings, but even the glammiest trance stabs are offset by Aphex Twin levels of mischief. Corralling pan pipes, '80s synth presets and cartoonish effects with triple-time G-funk, it's often over the top, but its vision is laser focused.
