Label: TVT Records
Lumidee's second album is all over the place. She rocks South Asian beats, Gorillaz-style alt-grooves, and a whole lot of dancehall. She's a hard MC here, a breathy, moony R&B ingenue there, and sometimes both at the same time (see "Cute Boy"). What this diva-in-waiting isn't, however, is much of a singer: she sings through her nose more than her mouth. To her credit, Lumidee is young, and she's into trying new things; "Crazy," featuring Pitbull, and the rather clever "In It for the Money," featuring Snoop, are her most successful experiments.
