Released:
Label: Karmin Music / The Complex Music Group
Wherein a young, coed, button-cute pop duo (they're dating, too!) finds Internet fame by doing tart, delightfully stiff coffee-shop covers of chart-topping pop hits from Lil Wayne's "6 Foot 7 Foot" to Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" to Sugarland's particularly well-fitting "Stuck Like Glue." Got 'em millions of YouTube hits and a Saturday Night Live gig, y'know. (Zooey Deschanel was the host, of course.) This is polarizing but winsome stuff, particularly when singer Amy Heidemann shows off her mic skills on Chris Brown's speed-rap tour de force "Look at Me Now." Adorkable indeed. [Rob Harvilla]
