Each Julieta Venegas album has edged closer and closer to the mainstream, and we should probably be disappointed by that. But that's impossible with Venegas: she's always charming, crafting smart, rootsy pop that has made the accordion into a mainstream instrument and her lazy drape of a voice into a national obsession. Even the so-weird-it-shouldn't-work rap/reggaeton nod "Primer Dia" succeeds, though it stupidly relegates her to back-up singing. "De Que Me Sirve" approaches jazz, while the single "Me Voy" and "Te Voy A Mostrar" stand out among a solid pack of songs.
