Forget Monday. This emo-pop (big, big emphasis on the pop) outfit is all Friday to our ears -- and, more specifically, TGIF! The West Palm Beach, Florida, cuties have regrouped a bit since original drummer Elliott James was replaced by Patrick McKenzie, but thankfully, the basic formula is still the same: infectious energy, enough hooks to make a heavyweight's career, just a pinch of mall-punk edge and, most of all, the throaty, endearing vocals of Cassaddee Pope. Things get positively pop-tastic on the quasi-acoustic "Hangover" and jaunty "Mr. Pushover."
