It's a hard knock life for Kiwis in NYC. Thankfully Jemaine and Bret have returned to document the struggles of being New Zealand's "fourth most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo." Prior to the show's second season, the two grappled with writer's block, but it seems their growing frustrations with the ladies became their ultimate muse. Epileptic dogs, Aussies, women obsessed with Art Garfunkel, and dicks (as in too many of them on the dancefloor) provide inspiration as they juggle sounds influenced by R. Kelly, Bowie, Billy Joel, Paul Simon and Russian sailors.
