Label: Sundazed Music
The good folks at Sundazed Records gave Don Rich his own posthumous long player. While the Bakersfield guitar prodigy led the Buckaroos (Buck Owens' backing band), he never put out any of his own material before his fateful motorcycle mishap in 1974. This is how a Fender Telecaster was meant to be played - picked like hell's flames were chasing your fingers up and down the fretboard. The late Owens admitted that the fire in his musical heart went out following Rich's untimely demise, and as sad as that statement is, the proof lies within all 24 of these incredible tracks.
