Released:
Label: Eagle Rock
While a 12 minute unplugged version of "Thorn in My Pride" (that's unplugged as in "no drums at all -- not even a bongo, or a tambourine") may call into question the whole legalization stance the Robinsons are so adamant about, Brothers of a Feather generates quite a bit of excitement anyway, just by the fact that it exists. As a preview to a promised forthcoming studio album, Brothers doesn't have a riff on it that doesn't sound like classic era Black Crowes, just, uh, no drums. It makes one want the new Crowes record to just hurry up and come out.
